Current testing release

The current release is limited to adults evaluating the service with synthetic student data. Do not invite real students or enter real student education records, photographs, health information, or other private student information. A student-role test account must be controlled by an adult and use fictional student information. Adult testers' own account and contact information is still personal information covered by the Privacy Policy.

This testing release is not authorization for a real-student pilot. Before such use, Ligarion and the institution must resolve the applicable school agreement, data-processing instructions, notices and permissions, provider arrangements, security review, and retention and disposition requirements. Operator review of these documents does not constitute attorney approval or a compliance certification.

Institution-managed educational use

Ligarion Connect is operated by Ligarion LLC for educational group management, communication, attendance, forms, documents, calendars, and activity coordination. Available features depend on the institution's plan, settings, and your role.

Accounts are invitation-only. An authorized institution representative must add you before you complete registration. An invitation does not by itself establish parental consent, an institution's legal authority, or permission to collect every category of information. Students must use their institution-provided identity. Other users must provide accurate identifying information.

Institution responsibilities and agreements

Institutions control eligibility, role assignments, group membership, and permitted educational uses. They must establish the authority, notices, permissions, and agreements required for their users, including children. Ligarion also has its own responsibilities as a service provider; those are not transferred to a school merely by sending an invitation.

An authorized institution agreement or data-processing agreement governs the institution's purchase, data instructions, and any conflicting contractual provisions. An individual student's acknowledgement does not bind a school, substitute for parental consent, or waive privacy rights.

Program, School, and District scope

A Program service covers one defined, related educational program within an institution. Separate unrelated programs require separately approved Program service or broader School service. A School service covers one institution. A District service covers only the institutions expressly assigned to that district license for the applicable period. Custom or non-school youth uses require written review of the organization, authority, scope, and safeguards before activation.

A license, invoice, billing role, district role, or organizational relationship does not by itself grant access to student information, messages, files, or another institution's private records. Access continues to depend on an active account, role, institution or program scope, group membership, feature settings, and any separately approved delegation. The current adult-testing restriction applies regardless of the requested plan family.

Account security and acceptable use

Keep your credentials private, use only your own account, and report suspected unauthorized access to your institution and support@ligarion.com. Do not impersonate another person, attempt to bypass permissions, collect other users' information without authorization, or upload malicious code.

Threats, harassment, bullying, discrimination, unlawful material, and abusive conduct are prohibited. Use information only for authorized educational purposes. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information.

Moderation and safety

Authorized staff can review reports and hide messages; institution managers can remove messages from ordinary views. Hidden or removed records and moderation history may remain available to authorized personnel. User blocking is not a guarantee that required institutional communications will stop.

An institution may enable a language filter. Filtering is imperfect and does not replace staff supervision. Ligarion is not an emergency service, continuous monitoring service, or a guarantee of a student's location or safety. Use emergency services and your institution's established procedures for urgent concerns.

Content and service permissions

Users and institutions retain their applicable rights in submitted content. They authorize Ligarion and its service providers to store, process, transmit, and display it for the requested educational service, authorized support, security, and applicable record obligations. This is not permission to sell student information or use it for targeted advertising.

Ligarion retains its rights in the software and branding. Institution content is not transferred into Ligarion's ownership merely because it is stored in the service.

Plans, trials, and billing

Program, School, and District services are offered on annual terms in United States dollars under an accepted quote, invoice, or written agreement. Student capacity and organizational scope determine the commercial offer. Active students and unexpired pending student reservations consume capacity once per license; disabled or removed students do not consume current capacity, although their records may be retained. Included non-student accounts, groups, subgroups, trips, events, announcements, messages, and annual photo-upload counts do not have separate commercial quantity caps. A custom or quote-only offer requires an agreed price and numeric student capacity; it is not free or unlimited student service.

Submitting a sales request, receiving an invitation, registering a user, or signing in does not purchase or activate service. Ligarion manually reviews and activates every trial and paid license in the platform console. A trial lasts 30 consecutive 24-hour days beginning when a platform operator activates it. No payment card is required, no automatic charge or invoice collection occurs, and a trial does not automatically convert to paid service. When a trial expires, normal use stops; eligible active managers may receive a limited 30-day records-view, export, and billing window. This window is not continued active service and does not restart the trial.

Renewals and service changes require operator review and recorded commercial approval. Existing paid terms retain their recorded price through the current term unless a controlling written agreement says otherwise. Capacity upgrades may take effect after an approved adjustment; downgrades ordinarily take effect at renewal after scope and capacity review. A purchase order does not by itself prove payment. No stored payment method or recurring payment is required. Any future payment provider will be identified before use and will not independently control application access.

Support, storage, media, and custom services

Program service includes self-guided materials and standard support. School service may include ordinary institution configuration, standard CSV roster guidance, and priority triage. District service may include a named onboarding contact, covered-school setup planning, and standard implementation assistance. These descriptions do not promise 24-hour staffing, a guaranteed response time, dedicated engineering, unlimited meetings, or unlimited training unless a controlling written agreement expressly provides it.

Photos and file uploads are included with every Ligarion Connect subscription. Storage is subject to a reasonable-use policy designed to support normal educational, program, group, event, and organizational use. Reasonable use is not an unlimited-byte promise. Ligarion may review unusual storage, security, delivery, or cost patterns and work with the institution on a suitable limit, archive, export, or separately quoted arrangement without silently deleting institution records. Long-form video hosting, live streaming, videoconferencing, and external calendar, student-information-system, or single-sign-on integrations are not included unless expressly listed in an accepted scope.

Standard CSV imports and reports remain included. Bespoke data migration, custom SIS mapping, APIs, integrations, authentication, infrastructure, reports, exports, training, onboarding, or contract-specific support may require a separately accepted scope and price. Fixing a defect in an included feature is not custom billable work merely because it requires engineering effort.

Active-service history and post-service records

During active service, authorized users can access available service history subject to role, scope, feature, and record permissions. Full active-service history does not promise unlimited storage, perpetual self-service access after service ends, or access by a person whose authorization has ended.

After suspension, cancellation, trial expiry, or term end, ordinary application access may be restricted. A limited manager records window, an approved export, a legal hold, and Ligarion's retained-record obligations are distinct from active service. Retention does not create continuing customer access, and the end of self-service access does not authorize immediate physical deletion of institution records.

Account removal and retained records

Profile Settings provides account-access deletion after identity confirmation. This removes sign-in access; it does not erase institution records. Identity and membership history, messages, moderation records, attendance, check-ins, forms, acknowledgements, documents, published photos, and audit history are retained with restricted access.

Deleting an item from a screen generally removes it from ordinary views rather than physically erasing it. Preservation supports review and accountability but does not establish a lawful indefinite retention period. Requests involving access, correction, deletion, retention obligations, or legal preservation should be directed to your institution and support@ligarion.com. Availability, suspension, and legal rights

The service may be interrupted by maintenance, failures, or network/device limitations. Access may be restricted for account status, security, misuse, or contractual reasons. Institutions should maintain appropriate alternatives for essential communications and records.

Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Liability, dispute resolution, service commitments, and institution purchasing requirements must be addressed in the applicable reviewed institution agreement.

Limited license and prohibited interference

Subject to these terms and the applicable institution agreement, Ligarion grants authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the service for the institution's permitted educational purposes during their authorized access period. No ownership interest in the service is conveyed. Except as permitted by applicable law or express written authorization, users may not reverse engineer the service, evade technical controls, resell access, or use automated means to extract other users' information.

Disclaimers and allocation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law and except for express commitments in a controlling written agreement, the service is provided as available, without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Feature outputs, including attendance, check-in, notification, and moderation results, require appropriate human review; they are not a substitute for safeguarding procedures or professional judgment.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that applicable law does not permit to be excluded, excuses Ligarion from its own statutory duties, imposes a student's indemnification obligation, or limits an institution's obligations under public procurement law. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. Any negotiated liability limits, governing-law provisions, or dispute procedures belong in the institution's reviewed written agreement.

Contract interpretation

A controlling written institution agreement prevails over a conflicting provision of these terms to the extent of the conflict. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent legally permitted. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of future enforcement. Provisions concerning retained records, applicable content permissions, and accrued obligations continue only for as long as their purpose and applicable law permit after access ends.

Policy changes

Published versions are identified by a fixed version and effective date. Material changes are presented for explicit review in the application. A privacy acknowledgement records receipt of the notice, not permission for unrelated processing. No past acceptance is inferred or backdated.
